05/28/09: Purchased tickets, leave on 6/8
05/27/09: Received appointment date, 6/11
05/18/09: Dossier submitted!
05/07/09: Received dossier submission date; 05/18/09
04/29/09: Updated medical form for Sergei FedExed
04/21/09: Dossier in country and signed for by facilitator
04/17/09: Dossier mailed to Eastern Europe!!!
04/08/09: Got 171H in the mail. Dossier complete!!
03/10/09: Got all documents for dossier notarized and faxed to my State-side helper to check
03/04/09: Overnighted DCFS letter & home study to USCIS
03/04/09: Got DCFS letter, home study and social worker documents in the mail....lots to mark off the dossier list today!
03/03/09: Recieved DCFS endorsement - YEA!
02/01/09: Received large donation from our church to help with adoption costs. What a blessing!
01/28/09: Home study mailed to DCFS
01/22/09: State police clearance letters came in the mail
01/22/09: Local police clearance letters obtained
01/21/09: Two certified copies of Marriage license received
01/06/09: Two certified copies of Marriage license ordered; first copies too old now
12/30/08: Final homes study visit at our house
12/11/08: Received $1000 financial Aid from ECFA for home study
12/11/08: Third of four home study meeting with social worker from ECFA
12/03/08: INS fingerprint appointment, 8:00am
12/01/08: Second of four home study meetings with social worker from ECFA
11/24/08: DCFS finger prints redone for Gillian
11/24/08: First of four home study meetings with social worker from ECFA
11/21/08: USCIS fingerprint appointment notices received, app. 12/03/08 YEA!!
11/14/08: Received Sergei's birth certificate copies from Kiev
11/13/08: Gillian's home study physical
11/13/08: ECFA home study social worker assigned
11/13/08: USCIS I-600A filed
11/10/08: Home study pastoral conference
11/09/08: USCIS I-600A mailed
11/06/08: Sergei's home study physical
11/03/08: Home study/DCFS finger prints completed and receipt mailed to agency
10/31/08: Mailed home study application fee and paperwork
10/24/08: Home study agency orientation
10/16/08: Ordered Gillian's birth certificate copies
and marriage license copies
10/15/08: Committed to adopting Evangeline
