Tonight we had a great Christmas Eve service and then a few friends over for a Christmas toast.
As I write this my sweet husband is 2/3 of the way done with putting together the Rose Petal Cottage we got for the girls for Christmas (thanks Bethany for the heads up on the on-line deal). What a dad!
Polly usually goes right up to the nursery for church but tonight she got to stay and listen to the music. What fun! She laughed and clapped and brought life to everyone around her. Great way to celebrate the birth of Immanuel: God with us!
Afterword she took her turn on the piano. I teared up thinking about Evangeline so far away and dreamt once again about next Christmas with her here!
I bet she will love the cottage!
